6. (1) The Authority shall consist of a Board of Governors. (2) (a) The Board shall appoint a Chief Executive for the day-to-day management of the affairs of the Authority. (b) The Board shall, on the recommendation of the Chief Executive, appoint such other persons whether from within the Authority or not, to form part of an Executive Committee to ass ist the Chief Executive in his functions. (3) It shall be the duty of the other organs of the Authority to provide the Board with all such information as may be requir ed for the proper performance of its functions and in particular to en able it to ensure that its policies ar e being properly carried out. (4) The Board and other organs of the Authority shall be composed of such members, and shall conduct their affairs, as prescribed in the First Schedule. Powers and functions of the Authority.
