Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 18
18. Where the several acts commi tted by the offender, even if
at different times, constitute vi olations of the same provision of the
law, and are committed in pursuance of the same design, such ac ts
shall be deemed to be a single of fence, called a continuous off ence,
but the punishment may be incr eased by one or two degrees.
