188I. Saving the provisions of article 5 and any other provisions of this Code or of any other law conferring jurisdiction upon the courts of Malta to try offences, the crimin al action referred to in this sub-title of this Code may be prosecuted in Malta according to the provisions of this sub-title: (a) against any person who commits an offence in Malta, or on the sea in any place within the territorial jurisdiction of Malta, both if the offence takes place wholly or partly in the territory of Malta; (b) against any person who commits the offences referred to in CRIMINAL CODE [CAP. 9. 87 articles 188B and 188C, where counterfeit euro banknotes or euro coins are detected in the territory of Malta and also if the counterfeiting has taken place outside of Malta.
