Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 310

310. (1) In cases referred to in this Sub-title - (a) when the amount of damage caused by the offender exceeds five thousand euro (€5,000), the punishment shall be that of imprisonment from two to nine years; (b) when the amount of damage caused by the offender exceeds five hundred euro (€500) but does not exceed five thousand euro (€5,000), the punishment shall be that of imprisonment from six months to four years: Provided that if the punishment laid down for the relevant offence in the preced ing articles of this Sub- title is higher than the punishment laid down in this paragraph the former punishment shall apply increased by one degree and in the case of the offence under article 294 the punishment so increased shall not be awarded in its minimum; (c) when the amount of the damage caused by the offender does not exceed five hundre d euro (€500), the offender shall be liable to impri sonment for a term not exceeding six months. (2) The provisions of sub-article (1)( c) shall not apply in the case of any of the crimes refer red to in articles 296 and 298. Corporate liability for offences under this Sub-title.
