Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 365

365. (1) The Executive Police shall summon, in writing, the witnesses whose attendance is required before the Court of Magistrates, whether for the pros ecution or for the accused. (2) The provisions cont ained in the last pr eceding three article s shall apply to the s ubpoenas of witnesses. (3) The subpoenas referred to in this article and the summons referred to in article 360 shall be signed by an officer of the Executive Police not below the rank of sub-inspector or be stam ped with a facsimile of such a signature. Judgment, etc., to be carried out by Executive Police. Fines to be levied by registrar. Amended by: VIII.1990.3.
