Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 456
456. The Attorney General shall then address the jury on the
facts constituting the offence preferred in the indictment; he shall
state the evidence which he pr oposes to produce in support of t hose
facts; and after making such subm issions as he may think necess ary
in order to make the case clear, he shall conclude by demanding a
declaration of guilt against the accused.
