Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 505
505. (1) Besides the indications common to judicial acts, the
application shall contain a brief but clear statement of the fa cts of
the case, the grounds of the appeal and the relief sought by th e
appellant.
(2) The application shall, on pain of nullity, be signed by an
advocate or by the appellant himself.
(3) The record of the proceedings of the Criminal Court shall
be lodged by the Registrar of Courts before the Court of Crimin al
CRIMINAL CODE [CAP. 9. 315
Appeal within two working days from the day when the applicatio n
is filed.
(4) A copy of the application shall be served on the Attorney
General or on the accused, as the case may require, at least ei ght
working days before the day appointed for the hearing of the
appeal, unless the court shall in any case of urgency direct se rvice
with a shorter notice.
