Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 532B
532B. Where a person is convicted of a crime punishable with
imprisonment he shall be liable to pay such amounts in respect of
costs as the Minister may by regulations prescribe. Such
regulations may specify the crimes and, or the proceedings in
respect of which the regulations shall apply as well as which p art of
the costs may be converted into imprisonment and which part may
be recovered as a civil debt, or that the whole amount may be s o
converted or so recovered, and th e procedure applicable in ever y
case.
