699A. * Any reference in this Code to the receipt of the record of a case by a court or by the Attorney General or to the transfer of the record of a case from a court to another court or to the Attorn ey General shall be deemed to include a reference to the granting of access to the said record by elect ronic means and to the transf er or receipt of a scanned copy of the record by electronic means and no nullity or other defect in the procedure followed shall arise w hen the transfer or the receipt of th e record is made by one (1) of the electronic means referred to in this article instead of by phys ical transfer or when it is made by physical transfer instead of by electronic means.
