Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 83C
83C. Whenever an offence is committed for the benefit, in part or in
whole, of a body corporate by a person who has the power of
representation of the body corporate, authority to take decisio ns on
behalf of the body corporate, or authority to exercise control of the body
corporate, without prejudice to any other punishment to which t he body
corporate may be liable under any other provision of this Code or of any
other law, the said body corporate may be subject to:
(a) exclusion from entitlement to public benefits or aid;
(b) the suspension or cancellation of any licence, permit
or other authority to engage in any trade, business or
other commerci al activity;
(c) placing under judicial supervision;
(d) the compulsory winding up of the body corporate; or
(e) the temporary or permanent closure of any
establishment which may have been used for the
commission of the offence:
Provided that the provisions of this article shall not apply

where the punishment mentioned in this article is already provi ded
for under this Code or any other law.
