22AB. (1) Where the court makes an y order as is referred to in article 22A, it shall order the Director of the Asset Recovery Bureau to conduct inquiries to trace an d ascertain the whereabouts of any moneys or other property, due or pertaining to or under the con trol of the person charged or accuse d or convicted, as the case may be. (2) Whosoever is required by the Director of the Asset Recovery Bureau to provide information for the purpose of sub-article (1 ) shall comply with the demand within thirty days from the day of receipt of the demand. (3) The demand made by the Director of the Asset Recovery Bureau, and any reply thereupon in terms of this article, may a lso be made by electronic mail. Penalty for contravening court order.
