27. (1) There shall be such number of registries as the Minister responsible for justice may prescribe by regulations. Such regulations may also establish th e place of such registries, th e acts that each registry is competent t o receive and all other matter s necessary for the prope r functioning thereof. (2) Any provision in this Code or in another law or regulation which makes reference to a registry or to a section of a court shall be construed as a reference to th e registry of the specific cou rt or section established for the pu rpose under sub-article (1). (3) The Minister responsible for justice shall designate a publi c officer to be responsible for eac h registry that is established under sub-article (1) and, in making an y such designation, the Minist er responsible for justice may also determine the functions to be performed by such person and al l matters ancillary thereto.
