278. (1) The court executing officer shall deliver a copy of the
warrant or order at the first av ailable opportunity to the part y
against whom it is issued, or to his lawful representative.

delay.
(2) Unless the court shall otherw ise direct, or unless otherwise
prescribed by the Minister respo nsible for justice as prescribe d in
article 277(2), the court executive officer shall execute the w arrant
or order without delay, and, on the execution thereof, he shall
return it to the registrar together with a certificate stating whether
the warrant or order was execute d: in the affirmative, the cert ificate
shall also state the details of the execution, and in the negat ive, the
reason why the executi on was not effected.
