502. (1) The registrar shall, within fifteen days from the issue of the second edict, cause a notice, signed by him, containing the demand for the issue of edicts together with an intimation in t erms of sub-articles (3) and (4) of the last preceding article, to b e published in the Government Gazette, and posted up in the place in which Government Notices or other official acts are ordinarily posted up in the city, suburb or district in which the applicant resides, as well as in the city, suburb or district in which th e property is situate. Where notice is to contain names of creditors. (2) Where, in regard to any liability shown on the certificate o f the Public Registry, the applicant, if he appears in his own na me, shall swear that such liability does not concern him and that h e is not aware whether such liability concerns any of the persons ve sted with the possession of the prope rty within the last preceding t en years, or, if he appears as attorney or representative of anoth er person as provided in article 500(7), shall swear that it is no t to his knowledge whether such liability affects the property, then in any such case, the said notice shall contain the names, as stated i n the certificate, of the creditors in whose favour such liability is registered and shall contain an express warning to such credito rs that, should they fail to appear and put in a claim, by a prote st, within the time prescribed in su b-article (3) of the last prece ding article, such liability shall be deemed to be non-existent in s o far as the property referred to in the notice is concerned.
