967. Where desertion takes place under the provisions of
articles 963 and 964, it shall be deemed to take place on the d ay on
which the time therein prescribed expires; and the registrar ma y
from that day demand the fees payable to the registry, in
accordance with Tariff A in Sch edule A annexed to this Code.
