Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 43

43. The death of either of the spo uses shall, except in the case in which the judgment of separation may produce the effects referred to in articles 48 to 52 inclusively, extinguish the ac tion of separation, even though such deat h takes place after the demand . Grounds on which both spouses may demand separation not to bar action by either of them.
