Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 520
520. Where the sale by licitation relates to immovable property,
or to movable property of a value exceeding the sum of sixty-ni ne
euro and eighty-eight cents (69.88 ), and any of the co-owners i s
subject to tutorship or curatorship or is an absentee represent ed by
a curator appointed by the court, such sale shall be ineffectua l if it
is not made under the authority of the court of voluntary or
contentious jurisdiction, as the case may be.
