521. (1) Where under the provisions of the last preceding article the sale by licitation takes place under the authority of the court, it shall be carried out a ccording to the rules laid down for judicial sales by auction, in so far as such rules are applicab le, unless the court deems it more beneficial for the parties inter ested that it should be car ried out otherwise. (2) In all cases, strangers shall be invited to bid. (3) The adjudication made by the registrar shall be equivalent to the deed of sale, even if the sale relates to immovable prop erty.
