Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 664

664. The judge or magistrate requested to give his assistance under the last preceding article, shall read out and explain to the testator the contents of the pap er which the testator declares to be his will, and shall enter, at the foot thereof, a declaration t o the effect that he has complied with such requirements, and that he is satisfied that the contents of the paper are in accordance with the intention of the testator. Such declaration shall be dated and signed by the judge or magistrate. Formalities to be observed by judge or magistrate assisting an illiterate person.
