Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 665

665. (1) The said judge or magistrate shall, after the will is duly closed and sealed, enter on the paper itself on which the will is written, or on that used as its envelope, a declaration to the effect that such paper or envelope contains the will of the person mak ing it, and shall affix his sign ature to such declaration. (2) Such declaration shall not operate so as to dispense with th e act of delivery referred to in article 659 or the note of parti culars referred to in article 662. Any judge or magistrate even temporarily present in Malta or Gozo may assist illiterate person. Amended by: IX.2004.14.
