Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 871
871. Saving other provisions of this Code with regard to
renunciations in contemplation of marriage, it shall not be law ful to
renounce the inheritance of a living person, or to alienate any
eventual rights thereto, except on taking the vows in a monasti c
order or a religious c orporation of regulars.
