Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 870

870. Any heir who misappropriate s or conceals any property belonging to the inheritance, shall forfeit the right to renoun ce such inheritance, and shall, notwithstanding any renunciation remain pure and unconditional heir. Renunciation of inheritance of a person living, is null.
