Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 90

90. (1) The parent who has ackno wledged a child conceived and born out of wedlock shall have in regard to him all the rig hts of parental authority other than the legal usufruct. (2) If the interests of the child so require, the court may orde r that only one of the parents shall exercise the rights of paren tal authority; (3) The Court may also restrict the exercise of the aforementioned rights and, in ser ious cases, exclude both paren ts from the exercise of these rights. (4) The Court may also restrict th e exercise of the aforemention ed rights where one or both of the pa rents are convicted with one or more of the offences listed in Title VII of Part II of Book First of the Criminal Code .
