918. (1) Any donations made to the descendant of a person entitled to succeed at the time o f the opening of the successio n shall in all cases be deemed to be m ade without the obligation of collation. (2) The ascendant, on succeeding to the donor, shall not be bound to collate such donations. Descendant succeeding in his own right not bound to collate donations made to ascendant.
