Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 946

946. Each co-heir is deemed t o have succeeded alone and directly to all the property comprised in his share, or come to him by licitation, and never to have had the ownership of the other hereditary property. Co-heirs are mutually warrantors in respect of molestations and evictions.
