Civil Code (Cap. 16), article 949
949. (1) Each of the co-heirs is personally bound, in
proportion to his share of the inheritance, to indemnify his co -heir
for the loss caused by the eviction.
(2) Where any of the co-heirs is insolvent, the portion for
which he is liable shall be apportioned in the proportion state d in
sub-article (1) of this article, between the warrantee and all the
solvent co-heirs.
