66. (1) When a detained person is transferred to another place of detention, the responsibility for the welfare of that person sh all devolve on the new custody offic er who shall assume responsibil ity. (2) The Magistrate carrying out an inquiry into the in genere i n relation to the offence in respect of which a person is detaine d may order at any time that the detained person be transferred to an other place of custody.
