372. Where an offence under this Act is committed by an association or body of persons, every person who at the time of the commission of the offence, was a director, manager, secretary o r other similar officer of such association or body of persons, o r was purporting to act in any such cap acity, shall be guilty of that offence unless he proves that offence was committed without his knowledge and that he exercised all due diligence to prevent th e commission of the offence.
