Social Security Act (Cap. 318), article 125
125. (1) Any person who at any time has or has had in his
employment any employed person, shall furnish to the Director
such information concerning such employed person as the Directo r
may require for the purposes of this Act and within such time a s
may be indicated in the request.
(2) If any person fails to provide any such information in whole
or in part within the time indicated in the request or knowingl y or
recklessly provides incorrect in formation he shall be liable, o n
conviction, to a fine ( multa ) of not less than one hundred and
sixteen euro and forty-seven cents (116.47) for each such offen ce
and to a further fine ( multa ) of not less than two euro and thirty-
three cents (2.33) for every day during which the said offence
continues:
Provided that no proceedings shall be taken against him if,
after an intimation in writing of the charge against him has be en
given to him, he agrees to pay and in fact pays to the Director
within such time as may be fixed by the latter a penalty not
exceeding fifty-eight euro and twenty-thr ee cents (58.23) for e very
such failure as aforesaid and a further penalty not exceeding o ne
euro and sixteen cents (1.16) for every day during which such
failure continues.
Unpaid
contributions
deemed as paid in

blame.
