50A. Subject to the provisions of this Act, a person born on or after the 1st January 1962, who reaches pensionable age, who is not entitled to a Service Pension shall be entitled to a Guaranteed National Minimum Pension which shall be payable at such rate being not less than sixty percent of the National Median Income as the Minister may, with the concu rrence of the Minister responsi ble for finance, by order under this article from time to time esta blish and in any case, such Guaranteed N ational Minimum Pension shall not be less than that establis hed for the preceding year.
