Malta Financial Services Authority Act (Cap. 330), article 24
24. (1) The Authority may:
(a) hold accounts with any bank;
(b) invest any of its liquid assets in short and medium term
first class securities as approved by the Board of
Governors;
(c) acquire, purchase, lease or dispose of any movable or
immovable property require d for the conduct of its
business or for any purposes ancillary or incidental to
the performance of its functions under this Act.
(2) For the purpose of carrying out of its functions under this
Act, the Authority may, with the approval in writing of the
Minister, borrow or r aise money in such manner, from such perso n,
body or authority, and under such conditions as the Minister, m ay
in writing approve.
