Trusts and Trustees Act (Cap. 331), article 24A
24A. (1) The terms of a trust may provide for the office of
protector of the trust.
(2) Subject to the terms of the t rust, the protector shall have the
following powers:
(a) to appoint a new or additional trustee;
(b) to remove a trustee;
(c) to require the trustee to obtain his consent before
exercising a discretion.

(3) In the exercise of his offi ce the protector shall not be
deemed to be a trustee.
