32. (1) No person - (a) who has been adjudged bankrupt or has made a composition with his creditors or has been an officer of a credit institution which has had its licence withdrawn under article 9(2); and who has not been exempted in writing by the competent authority from the provisions of this article; or (b) who is interdicted or incap acitated or who has been involved in money laundering or found guilty of a crime affecting public trust, theft, fraud, extortion or of knowingly receiving prope rty obtained by theft or fraud, 76 CAP. 371.] BANKING shall act or continue to act as an officer of a cred it institut ion.
