3. T h e D i r e c t o r G e n e r a l s h a l l b e r e s p o n s i b l e f o r t h e administration of this Act and investigations according to this Act, and for these purposes the Direct or General shall exercise the responsibilities vested in the Offi ce for Consumer Affairs by a rticle 17 of the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority Act and by this Act except where competences are assigned to the Civil Court by this Act and by the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority Act : Provided that the Director General may delegate any of his functions and powers to any offi cer or employee of the Authorit y.
