Employment and Industrial Relations Act (Cap. 452), article 52
52. (1) For the purposes of this Act, a public officer shall be
appointed as, or designated to perform the functions of, Regist rar
of Trade Unions.
(2) The Registrar shall perform the functions and duties
conferred on him by this Act, and for the purpose of the exerci se of
those functions and of the performance of those duties he shall have
power to require any person to g ive him any relevant informatio n
and to produce to him any relevant document, and may also
administer oaths.
