136. (1) Any public officer or servant who, under colour of his office, shall, in cases other than those allowed by law, or wit hout the formalities prescribed by law, enter any house, or other bu ilding or enclosure belonging to any person, shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not e xceeding three months or to a f ine (multa or ammenda ). Aggravating circumstances. (2) Where it is proved that the entry has taken place for an unlawful purpose or for a private advantage, the offender shall , on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term from one to tw elve months.
