Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 226A
226A. Where a person gives cause to a death or bodily harm
mentioned in the foregoing provisions of this Sub-title in the course
of the execution by him of a theft or in the course of an attem pted
theft, or immediately after the commission of such theft or suc h
attempt while he is fleeing from the place where the theft was
committed or attempted, he shall, without prejudice to any liab ility
incurred by him in relation to the theft or attempted theft and
saving the provisions of article 17, on conviction, be liable -
(a) in the case of death, to the punishment of
imprisonment from four to nine years;
(b) in the case of bodily har m, to the punishments
mentioned in article 226 which shall be increased by
one or two degrees.
