Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 250
250. (1) Whosoever, with intent to extort money or any other
thing, or to make any gain, or with intent to induce another pe rson
to execute, destroy, alter, or change any will, or written obli gation,
title or security, or to do or omit from doing any thing, shall
threaten to accuse or to make a co mplaint against, or to defame ,
that or another person, shal l, on conviction, be liable to
imprisonment for a term from one to four years.
(2) Where by such threat the offender shall have attained his
end, he shall be liable to impri sonment for a term from eightee n
months to five years.
