337E. (1) If any act is committed outside Malta which, had it been committed in Malta, would have constituted an offence against the provisions of this Sub-title, it shall, if the comm ission affects any computer, software, data or supporting documentatio n which is situated in Malta or is in any way linked or connected to a computer in Malta, be deemed to have been c ommitted in Malta. (2) Notwithstanding sub-article (1), if the offence is committed partially outside Malta and which had it been committed in Malt a constituted an offence contrary to the provisions of this Sub-t itle, said offence shall be deemed to h ave been committed in Malta.
