469. The foreman of the jury shall collect the votes of the other jurors in respect of each verdict, noting down against the name of each juror respectively the vote given by such juror, and shall finally add his own vote; and after counting the votes, and ascertaining the concurrence of at least six votes, he shall wr ite down the verdict to be returned, w hich he shall lay before the other 304 CAP . 9.] CRIMINAL CODE jurors.
