Criminal Code (Cap. 9), article 470

470. (1) The jury may apply to the court for any elucidation or explanation they may require for the discharge of their duties. And every such elucidation or explana tion shall be given in open co urt. Place for deliberating. (2) The jury may, for the purpose of considering their verdict, withdraw to the place appo inted for that purpose. Means of communication between jury and court. (3) When the jury shall have retir ed to deliberate, the registra r shall be the means of communicat ion between the jury and the court. Jurors not to absent themselves or communicate with unauthorized persons. Amended by: XXVII.1975.27.
