616. (1) The expense for the maintenance of the jurors while performing their duties and during the time in which they are permitted to have food and drink, shall be defrayed by the Government. Payment of travelling expenses. (2) Jurors are entitled to all tr avelling expenses, in the same cases and in the same manner as witnesses. (3) The Minister responsible for justice may by regulations provide for the payment of fees to jurors for their service. Exemption of juror from arrest for debt.
