573. (1) If the advocate appointed by the court declines to accept the appointment, the cour t shall examine the reasons of the refusal and, if found sufficient , shall proceed to the appointm ent of another advocate; otherwise, it s hall declare that there are no grounds for the refusal. Penalties. (2) If the advocate persists in his refusal, the court shall, according to circumstances, by way of a disciplinary measure, either admonish him with closed doors, or reprimand him in open court, or suspend him from the e xercise of his profession for a period not exceeding one month. It shall also be in the power o f the court to inflict the said disciplinary penalties cumulatively. Title IV OF BAIL Bail.
